Is it just me or does FM radio suck? You get some decent stuff on the weekends from more Independent and local artists but the bulk of it is just crap we’ve heard far to many times. With things like Pandora, Slacker, and MySpace growing faster then ever, does FM have a Future?Sure there’s Satalite radio which is great but costs $15 a month which in these times of economic struggle may be too much. So where does this “Internet” killer I speak of come into play? Well some may not realized it but in the very soon future we will have Blanket WiFi in major city’s. Broadband + Wireless router = WiFi will be a thing of the past. Instead, you will simply pay a monthly fee just as you do know and be granted access to the City’s WiFi. This change will open up huge doors in the way everyone lives their day to day lives. Imagine your Phone, Laptop, Car, PSP, DS, iPod, Zune, Wristwatch all having access to the internet everywhere you go. Being able to listen to online *Free radio stations, or Pod Casts, RSS Feeds from your Favorite bands MySpace page and even interacting with them instantaneously. So here’s the Big question… Do you listen to FM because it provides good entertaining content, or because it’s convenient?
